To establish a Strategic Plan and Master Plan for Barcelona International Airport, determining its incremental development to 2020, and providing a functional brief for a new midfield Terminal.

Development Management

Over a 4 year period Vector’s Development Managers, Airport Planners, Surface Access Strategic Planners and Specialist Systems consultants were co-located with AENA’s “Plan Barcelona” team. Vector’s team provided a comprehensive service that established the airport’s strategic plan, developed a master plan and compiled a functional brief for a new midfield terminal.

A convergence process and communication plan was implemented to deliver solutions that satisfied the future requirements of AENA, Iberia (One World) and the Community of Barcelona.
