To establish a Strategic plan and Master Plan for Barcelona International Airport, for its incremental development to 2020, and to establish a functional brief for a new midfield Terminal.

Development Management Over a 4 year period Vectors Development Managers, Airport Planners, Surface Access strategic Planners and Specialist Systems consultants were co-located with AENA’s Plan Barcelona team. Our team  provided a comprehensive service to establish the airports strategic plan, develop a master plan and compile a functional brief for a new midfield terminal. A convergence process was implemented to achieve plans that would deliver solutions that satisfied the future requirements of AENA, Iberia (+One World) and the Community of Barcelona.

Throughout the planning programme our expertise was beneficial in bringing business acumen to strategic planning, airport and airline operational expertise to master planning, and terminal process and performance analysis to the compilation of a terminal functional brief.
