To produce a Strategic Development Plan, Master Plan and New Terminal Design to support the airport and the regions forecasted growth. The new terminal was to be designed and built to be the “International Gateway” to Shandong Province

Vector lead the British Consortium that secured the design commission for the development of Jinan Airport.

In addition to leading the multi-disciplinary design team, Vectors role included analytical studies to verify forecasted demand, capacity option studies and the production of operational models.  Our team undertook the  project management and cost management of the master plan and the new terminal scheme design.

We also advised the government on the potential for the continuing commercial development of the airport in the future.

The new terminal serves as an ”International Gateway” to Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province successfully supporting the economic growth of the region.
