Objective
To develop a new aircraft engineering base to be built at Cardiff, Wales airport creating 1,200 jobs. The facility was to carry out heavy maintenance on the airline’s growing fleet of Boeing 747s. The purpose built aircraft maintenance facility was to include support workshop, non destructive testing, paint shop and complete product planning to include technical support.
