Identify measures the hospital would need to adopt to enable them to plan and deliver resource efficient outpatient services during their 5 year planning period commencing 2003.

Business Consultancy We conducted a careful examination of existing and forecasted demand for outpatient services across a number of specialist areas of treatment. Our consultants worked with the hospitals managers and clinical staff to map existing patient processes and recommend new ways of working which could improve and streamline the outpatient service. Facilities, healthcare staff and clinical equipment resources were analysed and modelled to provide a forecast of future  resource requirements for each type of treatment.

The hospital was able to plan its 5 year resource requirements with greater confidence and, using the bespoke tools we developed, was better equipped to manage future changes to outpatient demands and service standards.
