LONDON - On December 29, 2007, the Beijing Capital Airport Holding Company announced that the third passenger terminal (T3) has reached its completion assessment as scheduled, and is planned to be officially launched into operation in two phases starting respectively on February 29 and March 26, 2008.

Vector was appointed as Project Management Advisor to the BCIA Expansion Headquarters at the start of November 2003 following an international design competition.  Vector’s first task was to develop a design brief to be completed in time to permit the project to break ground on March 28, 2004.  This was achieved.  Construction lasted for three years and nine months.  The project covers an area of approximately 1 million square meters, and the facilities now fully meet international aviation requirements.

Terminal 3 will serve Air China — China's flagship carrier — and its alliance airline companies, as well as foreign airlines.
