Vector’s T5 project team provided British Airways with a full “concept-to-delivery” range of services throughout the development of this iconic, 30mppa/£5.0bn terminal.

Our core, up-stream work, included project organisation, innovating working practices, leading “optioneering studies and producing detailed User  Requirements, Facility and Operational Briefs and FM strategies including energy performance targets.  BA used Vectors specialist consultants to advise on preliminary IT terminal  design and to manage T5’s baggage design team.  Additionally, Vector advised on procurement strategy and continued to supply planning, project management and risk management resources throughout the construction phase.

Our active promotion of BA/BAA joint working, together with the application of a rigorous convergence process, facilitated the incorporation of BA’s requirements.
