To determine British Airways operational and facility requirements for their occupation of London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 and to prepare an business case and brief. To manage their integration with the airports (BAA) brief and design.

Under the leadership of Vectors Development Manager our team  provided a full compliment of services throughout the feasibility and pre-construction design stages of this 30mppa/£5.0bn terminal. Establishment and approval of BA’s needs required: extensive stakeholder organisation & communication; formulation of product, facility and operational briefs; design team management including baggage handling systems specialists; programme planning and management; production of business papers; FM strategies including energy performance targets. Our active promotion of BA/BAA joint working, together with a convergence process, facilitated the incorporation of BA’s requirements
